1983 Jan 17 Letter four

I am sure this was sent and then tucked away after the chain letter made another round.

Tracie had some health problems.  She went into the hospital for a liver biopsy.  They found that she had liver cancer and it was not operable.  She knew her time was limited.  She was not looking forward to going into the nursing home.  Gene and I and our girls, Trica and Jennifer visited her the day of Emma and Rubert’s auction sale.  She was excited to hear what we purchased at the auction sale.   A few days later she died in the hospital.  I was so happy she escaped the nursing home.

Connie’s  recollection of November 15, 1968 :  We all knew Grandpa was in the hospital.  He was doing better and it was thought that he would be coming home soon.  Grandma left to go have lunch and when she returned Grandpa had died.

If anyone else would like to share what they recall leave me a message or send  an email and I will add it.
