This reunion was held sometime before 1937..  Clara (James X . youngest sister) was still single ..she married Andy Dein also listed separately in this news article..they were married June 19, 1937

Christina Podendorf died on April 16, 1937  She was the mother of William Podendorf who was married to Mattie Henderson (James X. sister)

In 1937 Maggie (another sister of James X ) moved to California.   This note was tucked in with Tracie’s Purple Book .   It appears that Vida ( another sister of James X) gave the idea to Maggie.

The chain letter went on for years and years, everyone would write something and sometimes include a photo and add it to the rest of the letters and take out their previous letter.  It was always mentioned,  Gram  would say “I got the chain letter..want to read it? “ or “Look at this photo that came in the chain letter”  She was always one to share!  I was a wonderful way for family to stay connected years ago.
