July of 1947  Doc Higgs Day

Doc Higgs made house calls, he delivered many babies.  Gene remembers that it didn’t make a difference what illness you had, an ear ache or a broken leg the Doc would give you a shot in the butt.  Doc Higgs also carried little pink pills in his black bag.

Charles Stuve died  on September 15, 1947 .  He was at the reunion in that took place on August 10, 1947.

Charles or Charlie was also known as Henry Carl.  He was Tracie Stuve Henderson’s brother.
